Marketing and Analytics Data Collection
This section describes our marketing, remarketing and analytics practices and explains how various platforms use cookies and technologies to perform advertising and reporting actions. We also provide ways for you to opt out of ads, cookies or tracking preferences.
Internet-based Advertising
These cookies allow third parties to identify what is popular and interesting to users, enabling more personalised and relevant advertisements when browsing the internet. An anonymous picture of preferences is built based on browsing activity in order to deliver relevant advertising. Our ads appear mostly on Google partner websites and may also appear on third-party websites.
Behavioural Remarketing
Prepaid24 Enterprise uses remarketing services to display advertising on third-party websites after you have visited our website, registered, or made use of our services. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimise and serve ads based on your past visits to our platform.
Google Analytics
We use the third-party analytics provider Google Analytics – a service provided by Google LLC – to monitor and analyse traffic and activity patterns on our Site. Google Analytics utilizes data to track and examine the use of our website and to prepare reports for us based on users’ activities online. Analytics tools track many variables, including what website a user visited prior to coming to our website, how long a user stayed on a particular page, and users’ geographic locations. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse and improve our website based on your usage pattern. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising networks.
Google Analytics Remarketing and Demographics & Interest Reporting collects statistical information, along with anonymous demographic data and interest targeting, for online advertisements like display and search retargeting.
You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for your web browser, which provides visitors with the ability to prevent their data from being used by Google Analytics.
Google Ads
We use Google Ads and Google Ads Remarketing & Similar Audiences settings/tools to display individualised advertising of our products and services on partner websites of Google to you. In relation to the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our interest here is in showing you advertising which interests you, in making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.
If you arrive at our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie is stored on your PC by Google Ads. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. For this cookie, the following analysis values are generally stored: the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (indication of the user no longer wishing to be contacted).
You can opt-out of Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page; or you can read more about Google Advertising and Google’s Privacy Terms.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking
Google Ads Conversion Tracking of pay-per-click advertising is used by Prepaid24 Enterprise to capture specific customer actions (such as clicking on an advertisement, sign-ups, downloads) and to analyse them.
We only obtain statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can determine which of the advertising measures used are effective. We do not receive any further data from the deployment of advertising materials; in particular, we cannot identify the users by means of this information.
As set out in the “Our Cookie Policy” section of this page, you can so configure your particular browser that it rejects cookies. Additionally, in the cookie settings of Google’s Privacy Statement, you can prevent Google cookies from being used for advertising purposes.
Google Tag Manager
Our website uses Google Tag Manager, a service of Google LLC. The Tag Manager is used to manage tracking tools and other services, so-called website tags. A tag is an element that is stored in the source code of our website to record, for example, predefined usage data, such as an IP address. The Google Tag Manager does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data.
For more information, please refer to the privacy policy and Google's further information about Tag Manager.
We use Facebook advertising and remarketing services to reach relevant business audiences. Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law. They also adhere to the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioural Advertising established by the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Facebook gathers data on pages viewed and actions completed to make proper recommendations via advertisements on Facebook. You can learn more about interest-based advertising from Facebook here. To opt-out from Facebook’s interest-based ads follow these instructions from Facebook.
Based on our legitimate interests, we also use the "Custom Audiences from File" function of the social network Facebook, Inc. in which case inventory data (phone numbers, email addresses, Prepaid24 usernames) will be uploaded to Facebook. The upload process is encrypted and serves solely to identify recipients of our Facebook ads. We want to ensure that the ads are only displayed to users who are interested in our information and services. Registered users agree to our use of the "Custom Audiences from File" function and the related processing of their data.
Were you to leave a compliment on Prepaid24 Enterprise’s GoogleMyBusiness or HelloPeter profiles, take note that we may use it for advertising and/or brand-awareness/promotion purposes on Facebook posts and advertisements, as well as Twitter posts and other social media platforms. We do so while keeping your personal information safely hidden and would never disclose any information about our clients to the public.
For more information on the privacy practices of Facebook, please visit Facebook’s Data Policy & Cookie Policy.
Facebook Pixel
As mentioned above, Facebook, Inc. is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law. With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook can determine the visitors of our online Site as a target group for the presentation of advertisements (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display our Facebook ads only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our website or who have specific characteristics (e. g. interests in certain topics or products determined by websites visited) which we submit to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences" discussed above in the “Custom Audience from File” section).
Using the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes, by seeing whether users have been redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion tracking"). The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e., we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you, based on our knowledge of the situation. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with their Data Usage Policy. You can allow Facebook and its partners to place ads on and off Facebook (a cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes).
You can object to the collection of your data by Facebook pixel, or to the use of your data for the purpose of displaying Facebook ads, by contacting this address.
Email Marketing
Prepaid24 Enterprise only sends email marketing to businesses and individuals who have registered with us or previously used our services. We will always include a way to unsubscribe from marketing communications. Information used for email communications includes, but is not limited to, email address, cell number, username and account ID.
Restricting the Collection of Your Personal Data
You may restrict the use and collection of your business’s personal data at any time. When completing registration or profile forms, check for any optional fields that may be left blank if you do not wish to share that information.
If you have already shared information with us and wish to restrict its use, please contact our Business Support Team and we will address your request accordingly.
Prepaid24 Enterprise will not lease, sell or distribute your business’s personal information to any third parties without your consent, unless required to do so by law. Your personal information will be used in connection with the services described in this Privacy Policy.
